Quality is not an act — it is a habit. At SMVMCH, the Internal Quality Assurance Cell operates on this conviction. Since our NAAC A+ accreditation, we have redoubled our commitment to ensuring that every process — academic, administrative, and clinical — meets the highest standards of institutional excellence.
Our IQAC functions as the institutional conscience, meticulously gathering data, initiating audits, organizing faculty development workshops, coordinating AQAR submissions, and building a culture where continuous improvement is not a directive but a shared value. We bring together a diverse committee — management, faculty, students, alumni, and external experts — ensuring that the voice of every stakeholder shapes our quality initiatives.
In the academic year 2025–26, we have planned twelve targeted workshops for both teaching and non-teaching staff, covering ICT tools, AI in education, documentation practices, NIRF frameworks, and more. Our quarterly IQAC meetings ensure sustained momentum, and our internal audit cycle keeps departments accountable and growth-oriented.

What IQAC Does
The IQAC at SMVMCH is constituted as per NAAC guidelines and drives quality across all institutional processes through structured mechanisms.
Academic Quality Oversight
Monitoring teaching-learning processes, curriculum delivery, and student assessment frameworks in alignment with NMC and NAAC norms. Ensuring annual AQAR submissions are accurate and timely.
Internal Audit & Review
Conducting bi-annual departmental audits to evaluate compliance with academic standards, documentation quality, and institutional policies. Generating action-oriented reports for improvement.
Continuous Quality Improvement
Promoting a culture of evidence-based improvement through faculty workshops, peer feedback mechanisms, NIRF data collection, and stakeholder engagement including students, alumni, and parents.
