General Instructions to Candidates
The Centralized Admission Committee (CENTAC) is the designated counselling agency of the Union Territory of Puducherry for admissions to Medical and Dental courses.
Candidates must apply online through the official CENTAC website:
www.centacpuducherry.in Before filling out the application form, candidates are advised to carefully read the online prospectus.
Instructions to be Followed:
- Candidates must register using a valid email ID and enter their NEET-PG Roll Number, which will automatically fetch the essential NEET score details.
- Candidates must upload scanned, self-attested photocopies of all required certificates in support of their claims. Original certificates must be produced only at the time of admission in the respective colleges.
- All certificates required for various claims must be obtained from the respective competent authorities and must be valid as per the stipulated time.
- Only a Community Certificate issued by the Government of Puducherry will be considered for claiming reservation benefits under the Government Quota.
- Sports Quota certificates must be duly countersigned by the concerned authorities.
- Candidates must log in and fill in their personal details along with course preferences. Entry of course preferences will be enabled only after payment of the non-refundable application fee.
- Applications without course preferences will be treated as incomplete and will be summarily rejected.
- Candidates may modify their application details until the last date of submission. They are advised to exercise their choices carefully.
- Once course choices are submitted, they are considered final. However, CENTAC reserves the right to permit candidates to alter their preferences for subsequent rounds of counselling.
- Options exercised with regard to community or special categories are final and cannot be changed after the publication of the final merit list.
